This Temple is sustained entirely by the generosity of the Sangha. Beyond financial Dana, there are always practical needs that help us maintain our practice space and serve the community — flowers, candles, incense, paper, ink, and more. Below is a list of our current needs. If you are able to offer any of these items, we are deeply grateful.
Things for clerical and artistic endeavors
We have an Epson Workforce WF-784 printer. 812XL cartridges.

Fresh flowers are offered on the altar each week as a symbol of beauty, impermanence, and our gratitude to the Buddha. If you would like to offer flowers for a service, we welcome your generosity. Please choose flowers without thorns or any poisonous varieties, out of respect for the sacred space and the safety of all. Kindly let us know in advance the week you plan to bring flowers so we can coordinate. Thank you."
Our Temple places food items on the altar each week as offerings to the three treasures, Buddha, Dharma, Sangha. These offerings include, fruit, cookies, and other snacks. Food offerings placed on the altar should be Shojin, plant-based and free from meat or fish, in keeping with the spirit of non-harm (ahimsa) and respect for all life. These offerings are used after service for the Sangha during social time.
The Tatami that graces our altar area is in need of replacement. Tatami is an important part of our sacred space, reflecting the traditional beauty and reverence of Japanese Buddhist practice. We hope to have new Tatami in place by the end of the year. If you would like to contribute to this effort, please speak with one of our ministers or a member of the Board of Directors. Your Dana toward this project is deeply appreciated."
Dāna is the first of the 6 Paramita's. A Bodhisattva practice in giving from the heart.
Dāna is to give from the heart. This giving can be of your time, your attention, your skills, your friendship, financially . . . and more.
This Temple itself is an expression of Dāna, sustained entirely by the generosity of its community. This Temple is supported by Dana. The rent, electric and our web service are all paid for with Dana. Please help us to spread the Dharma
The Temple exists as a place of practice, refuge, and community for all of us. Monthly support of $55 from 20 members would fully cover our rent. If you are able to offer this support, your Dana is itself an act of practice, a gift to the Dharma and to all who walk through these doors."
